The story of craigThe story of Craig. Craig was 12 years old when he was flipping through the newspaper he was looking just for comics when all of a sudden something catched his eye it was the story of Iqbal Masih a 12 year old that was murdered because of speaking out for human rights.
Craig said that he could be the first person the first boy to make a difference he could lives of child slaves stop.Craig convinced a handful of 7th grade classmates that all together they could make an impact,and that is how free the children was born.
Along with Craig's older brother Marc.Marc and Craig set a team out on One bold mission:to free the children and their families from poverty and exploitation.
But then they discovered that freeing the children from slavery was not enough.The families freed children continued to struggle to support themselves and many freed children had to return to work.Recognizing that there is no single solution to end poverty, Craig and Marc created Adopt a Village, an innovative, holistic approach to development that provides access to five key pillars—education, clean water and sanitation, health care, food security, and alternative income—and empowers a community to lift itself out of poverty. |
